We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer with previous work experience.

Hard Skills:

• Good knowledge of Java 
• Good knowledge of one of the following languages: Scala, Typscript/Node.js;
• Experience with AWS services;
• Experience building RESTful APIs;
• Expertise in Domain Driven Design (DDD) and microservice architecture;
• Good knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL);
• Expertise with Git and Jenkins/CodeBuild-based deployments;
• Demonstrated ability to investigate and refactor legacy systems;
• Expertise in test-driven development and testability in design;
• Excellent knowledge of English (C1/C2).

Nice-to-have:

• B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field;
• Works in a Scrum team;
• Experience implementing event-driven or queue-driven services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in distributed systems, AWS Cloud services, and microservice architecture. He/She will play a crucial role in designing, architecting, maintaining and optimizing our software systems to ensure they are scalable, performant, and maintainable.
